UK singer songwriter Kate Walsh returns to Ireland in March to perform at Whelan’s, Dublin on Friday March 26th. Kate released her second album Light & Dark, in August 2009, followed by a performance at Electric Picnic. She spent much of late 2009 in Ireland, supporting Mick Flannery on a host of Irish dates, including Vicar Street and Cork Opera House on New Year’s Eve. Kate also featured on the Late Late Show with her most recent single 1,000 Bees and has been touring Europe with Paolo Nutini. Following her Irish show, Kate heads back off around Europe in support of Turin Brakes before coming back to the UK to spend six nights in the Royal Albert Hall in London supporting the legendary Mark Knopfler
